Indian Mounds PTA

Your PTA Team:

Vice President: Amy Kilgore
Treasurer: Kim Figueroa
Secretary: Claire Cadman

The PTA looks forward to connecting with you and your family during your student’s time at Indian Mounds Elementary. We hold monthly PTA meetings, assist with school events, host the Scholastic Book Fair, a fall event and a spring carnival each year. The PTA is a great place to get more involved with the school. We are always looking for more parents, family members, or caregivers to join us.

What is the PTA? PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association and is a caring group of people who advocate for each child at Indian Mounds. The PTA encourages parent, guardian, and caregiver involvement. Our group assists with field trips, classroom supplies, family engagement events throughout the year, and so much more. Everyone is welcome to join the PTA.

What did the IMPTA do last year? With the support of the Indian Mounds community, the IMPTA raised over $5,000 and supported school events, field trips, and added $3,683 worth of books to the Media Center and classroom libraries.

Why should I get involved? Your support goes a long way. Help shape and continually improve the IM community for our students and the faculty. Volunteer support is also needed at many of the events held throughout the year. This is a great way to get involved whether you are a member of the PTA or not!

Where do I sign up? Email the IMPTA at: indianmoundspta@gmail.com or complete the online form

We do request a $10 financial contribution from all PTA members. These funds end up right back in the classroom to support our students and faculty.

Be sure to “like” the IM PTA Facebook page to stay up-to-date on meetings, fundraisers, events and more. Thank you!
