New Gaga ball pit thanks to Eagle Scout project

Valley View Elementary School has a new Gaga ball pit, thanks to Jefferson senior Jacob Stroebel, who built the pit for his Troop 439 Eagle Scout project. Jacob played a lot of Gaga ball (spinoff of dodgeball) in his younger years, and loved the idea of “playing” it forward. He worked with VVE to plan the project, get the materials and even raised some of the money. He built the pit on Sept. 16 with the help of other scouts and parents.
