Elementary schools host kindergarten welcome events

Families with children starting kindergarten in the 2024-25 school year are invited to attend a kindergarten welcome event to tour their school, meet teachers and learn more about the kindergarten experience.

New families can view important information, checklists and timelines to help with the kindergarten registration process on the district kindergarten web page at bit.ly/bps-kinder.

Welcome events are scheduled as follows:

• Hillcrest Community School, Feb. 6, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Indian Mounds Elementary School, Jan. 25, 6 - 7 p.m.
• New Code Academy Online (Virtual Meeting Link), Feb. 8, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Normandale Hills Elementary School, Jan. 25, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Oak Grove Elementary School, Jan. 30, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Olson Elementary School, Jan. 25, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
• Poplar Bridge Elementary School, Jan. 25, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Ridgeview Elementary School, Feb. 1, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Valley View Elementary School, March 7, 6 - 7 p.m.
• Washburn Elementary School, Jan. 25, 5 - 6 p.m.
• Westwood Elementary School, Jan. 25, 6 - 7 p.m.
