Jefferson competition cheer wins eighth national championship

Jefferson’s competition cheer team earned its eighth national championship title at the 2024 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship, held Feb. 9-12 in Orlando, FL.
The girls competed against more than 25 teams from across the country in the Small Varsity Game Day Division I competition. The team came in first place out of eight finalists for their fifth consecutive national championship.
The team also took fifth place in traditional routine.
The Jefferson competition cheer coach is Taylor Mancini, Kelly Gerleve and Natalie Moran.
