Jefferson Theatre Company presents its spring musical ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ April 19-21 and April 26-28 in the Jefferson High School auditorium, 4001 W. 102nd St.

Fiddler on the Roof is the beloved story of a Jewish family living in Imperial Russia in 1905. During the course of the show, time-honored traditions embraced by the father, Tevye, and his wife are challenged by their daughters. The story captures the essential human longings for love, community, success, freedom, family, and meaning.

The show features a cast and crew of 65 students under the direction of Gaby Schmit and Laura Schmit, as well as music directors Tyler Eliason and Brian Ohnsorg, with set building by Mark Borchardt, lighting design by Gabe Hansen and costumes by Laurie Clements.

Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays, April 19-20 and 26-27 at 7 p.m. and Sundays, April 21 and 28 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults in advance, $12 at the door, and $8 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at bit.ly/jtc-fiddler-tickets or at the door one hour prior to each performance. Tickets are $5 for the senior preview show on April 18 at 3 p.m.
